Media and Society is a first year foundational unit for students major or minor in Media and Communication Studies Program at UniMelb. It is the largest (nearly 600 enrollments) subject in the Program that offers some foundational concepts and approach to study media, to reflect on how media intertwines with our social everyday lives. Comparing Media Systems

(MECM20010)

Comparing Media Systems is a second year elective unit for students major of minor in Media and Communication Studies Program at UniMelb. It is a popular subject with more around 350 enrollments this year. The subject offers a comparative approach to study and examine different types of media systems and their transformations in a digital era.
